We have had a VERY positive response from our visitors to our PPE policy. 3 peole have refused to wear masks - so they were not allowed to enter. We have been
following WTO & the Scottish Government's guidelines - perfectly clear since May - as opposed to the Johnson/Cummins obfuscation and psychobabble - and our showrooms are still sterile. Thank you
to all our kind customers for their compliance and their help in keeping all of us safe. There will be no change to our PPE policy until at least June 2021.
Now we're all safe - DO COME IN.
STOP PRESS 22nd OCTOBER 2020
We've been shopping during our three days out of the showrooms - to the west country to collect a stunning bow fronted chest of 2 over three graduated drawers
and a new Vitrine for our table glass. We also have a stunninng barn find - a 1920's tandem tricylcle (Specialist Collectors Page). We picked up a Maple & Co. (stamped) C1880 Walnut desk in
walnut - it's in detailing at present but should be on show next week. Photos soon.
Great news from Tennessee - the Fostoria glass wash set has arrived safely and Scott Hobbs was kind enough to put a pic on our Facebook page. So - our 100%
record of packing and shipping articles worldwide rermains intact.
NEW PAGE - A very exciting medal came to us this week. A 1928 Winter Olympics Participants Bronze Medal - one of only 640 struck for the games - at the Los Angeles Olympics in 1984 12,500
were distributed. Click on the Stock Page for full details. The rare Anglepoise standard lamp designed by George Carwardine for Herbert Terry is rewired and awaiting PAT testing so
will be on the site very soon.
More curios, jewellery and For the Specialist Collector a set of three bronze sugar boilers from a French confiserie dated around 1850/1880. Rare thingls. Also some unusual miniature oil
lamps on the same page. Our shipment of a Parian ware figure to the US has been unpacked in perfect condition and another friend across the pond has been made.
Our opening times are to be altered until further notice - we will open only on the first Sunday of each month - so we are now Tuesday to Saturday. This will allow us to keep the
premises sterile and safe - and it does take a lot of work.
Precious Metals - Always pleased to give face to face valuations on any item of precious metal with full, testing, weighing and grading of metal & stones. If you think your
