We have had a VERY positive response from our visitors to our PPE policy. 3 peole have refused to wear masks - so they were not allowed to enter. We have been
following WTO & the Scottish Government's guidelines - perfectly clear since May - as opposed to the Johnson/Cummins obfuscation and psychobabble - and our showrooms are still sterile. Thank you
to all our kind customers for their compliance and their help in keeping all of us safe. There will be no change to our PPE policy until at least June 2021.
Now we're all safe - DO COME IN.
STOP PRESS 23rd SEPTEMBER 2020
NEW PAGE - We've been picking over the past two weeks and bought some rare and interesting pieces including a 1920's Gorridge's pram - try finding another one - which needs a bit of
love and a rare Anglepoise standard lamp which is being rewired and PAT tested before we put it in the showrooms. The prem cost £7.19s &6d in 1921 and the lamp is by the famous designer George
Carwardine for Herbert Terry. Photos soon. We've also posted a few more curios, jewellery and in For the Specialist Collector is a set of three bronze sugar boilers from a French confiserie dated
around 1850/1880. Rare thingls. Also some unusual miniature oil lamps on the same page. Our shipment of a Parian ware figure to the US has been unpacked in perfect condition and another friend across
the pond has been made.
Our opening times are to be altered until further notice - we will open only on the first Sunday of each month - so we are now Tuesday to Saturday. This will allow us to keep the
premises sterile and safe - and it does take a lot of work.
